AND THEY CALL THEMSELVES AMERICANS?

Michelle Malkin is posting about the flag-burning and US soldier effigy-burning party in Portland. She links to a post by Jason at Shock and Blog who points out that among the crowd of onlookers to this disgusting travesty is a young child. "They're brainwashing the next generation of troop-haters," he observes.

Here's the photo:

And another sickening image guaranteed to give a child nightmares (not to mention scaring most rational adults), this one of protestors carrying a dummy of a dead soldier during a protest outside Sen. John McCain's office Monday. The demonstration was one of hundreds across the country organized to mark the fourth year since the invasion of Iraq. Vigils were held in all 50 states, according to MoveOn.org. (photo credit Michael Chow / The Arizona Republic)

What are we teaching our children when they see this? A hatred of America, and those who put it all on the line to defend her?

Malkin offers an antidote to all this madness - coincidentally, the topic of Friday's (3/23) radio program:

Myrna Blyth and Chriss Winston's How to Raise an American: 1776 Fun and Easy Tools, Tips, and Activities to Help Your Child Love This Country.

Blyth will join us on The Andrea Shea King Show from 3 to 5 p.m. on AM 1510 - Florida's Space Coast and on the internet.

Consider yourself invited. And bring the kids.
