THROUGH MY WINDOW

A smattering of stuff...
while I sip my first cup of Dunkin' Donuts coffee ...

STILL WET BEHIND BIG EARS

"From the time Barack Obama was sworn in as a United State Senator, to the time he announced he was forming a Presidential exploratory committee, he logged 143 days of experience in the Senate. That's how many days the Senate was actually in session and working. After 143 days of work experience, Obama believed he was ready to be Commander In Chief, Leader of the Free World, and fill the shoes of Abraham Lincoln, FDR, JFK and Ronald Reagan. 143 days. I keep leftovers in my refrigerator longer than that."

DON'T QUIT NOW, HILLARY!

Melanie Morgan advises Her Royal Pantsuit, womano y womano...

"...We’ve also got to do a little work on your political complexion, but don’t worry, it’s nothing that a little Clinton concealer can’t fix. Not to be critical, but you allowed Obama to outflank you on the left. He supports women’s rights to kill their unborn babies up until the time of their birth. He hangs out with terrorists, preachers who hate America, and his wife is only proud of America now that people are fainting at Obama’s speeches. He even opposes the concept of marriage being between a man and a woman.

You and Bill go to traditional churches where they actually preach the Gospel. While Bill may fall asleep during the sermons, he can’t compete with Obama, who claims to have slept through 20 years of his pastor’s sermons. I know that Bill made a boneheaded mistake when he signed the law protecting marriage between a man and woman, but who’s perfect? And yes, your husband did score some points with the left when he pardoned terrorists, sure. But do you call any of them friends?"

ENVIRO NUTS LOSE BATTLE, WAR RAGES ON

Michelle Malkin enjoying a snort with her cuppa DD java

"Good news: The Lieberman–Warner eco-boondoggle is set to go down in flames today. But this is no time to rest. While the massive tax hike/green slush fund bill will most likely be shelved, it’ll come back sooner or later. And when it does, keep your eyes on “moderate” Republicans such as John Sununu who will try to appease their red-faced greenie donors and lobbyists by pulling a “for it before I was against it maneuver” this morning a la John Kerry.

As for the presumptive presidential candidates and the hanger-on, none of them are expected to show up today to vote.

It’s leadership we can believe in!

Snort."

D-DAY JUNE 6, 1944 - THE GREATEST GENERATION

THIRDWAVEDAVE remembers 160,000 GIs who stormed the beaches of Normandy. More than 5,000 American losses in one day, dwarfing the casualties and deaths we've had in five years in Iraq. More when you count our allies.

How would today's propaganda media machine have reported it? Take a look.
