‘Saturday Night Live’mocks tongue-tied CBS Super Bowl commentators at a loss for words During stadium Blackout [Video]

During last week’s Super Bowl, it was obvious that CBS had no idea how to handle the unexpected blackout that came just minutes after the halftime show. The analysts didn’t know how to break down what happened just minutes into the third quarter and sideline reporters Steve Tasker and Solomon Wilcots had no answers for why the blackout occurred. Bill Cowher even resorted to talking about how the 49ers should replace Colin Kaepernick with Alex Smith.

Saturday Night Live parodied the situation perfectly in their cold open this Saturday. In SNL’s recreation, Shannon Sharpe is wondering which player the team should eat first, James Brown incessantly plus 2 Broke Girls then admits he’s never seen it and Tasker is getting very tired of the cameras cutting to him.

Oh, and Sharpe says that Ray Lewis knows who killed those two men 13 years ago — because it was Lewis. Relive the Super Bowl blackout in the video below.
