Wesley Snipes released, Actor and producer Wesley Snipes was released from prison this week, TMZ reports.
The Federal Bureau of Prisons reportedly confirmed to TMZ that Snipes was released on April 2 and transferred to the New York Community Corrections Office where he will be placed under home confinement until July 19.
The 50-year-old Snipes was serving a three-year-sentence in Pennsylvania for failing to file his federal income tax returns. He began his sentence on Dec. 9, 2010.
